An introduction, of sorts

I used to have my blog dedicated to my dogs on another platform, which I used for about six years, but ultimately left because constant changes meant I didn't enjoy the user interface, and so I have decided to move it here. As I sit here, typing out my first post for this new blog, Archie is eleven years old, Kobi is seven, and Roy, the new puppy, is nearly six months old. Chaka, who I dogsit three times a week, is ten and a half, and my sister's pound pup is coming up a year.

But, before I start in on there here and now, I need to go back to the very beginning, to when I first got Archie at the age of 9 weeks, all the way back in 2008.
